Baume les Dames, it's really a small town in the countryside.
Labeled City of character, lovers of old stones will be enchanted, but let's not forget that the city is also labeled Green station. There are many activities to do.
Here are our ideas to help you make the most of your stay with us!
Strolling along the Eurovélo 6
Ahhh Eurovélo 6… this great route linking Nantes to the Black Sea… how lucky we are to have this route that crosses our beautiful valley. When we say Eurovélo 6, we think “bike”, but know that you can absolutely stroll on foot, RollerballWith the stroller on these old towpaths converted into walking and cycling path.

What's more fun than pedaling in rhythm with family, friends, as a couple ? A Baume les Dames, you can rent a quad bike and cycle smoothly along the Eurovélo 6 and in the leisure area. It is , and we promise you a really nice time! Your calves will still be warming up...

Yes, it is possible in summer to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool of Baume les DamesVery pleasant, with a green space and trees to protect you from the sun, you will have a good relaxing time there.
OPENING HOURS 2025: Open weekends in June (and public holidays) from 10:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m. – Open every day in July and August from 10:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m.
Visit the cave under Buen
From an etymological point of view, the name Baume comes from the ancient Celtic word “Balma” which means cave. We are in fact here in a karst relief and the caves are numerous in the Franche-Comté subsoil. There is indeed a small cave at Baume les Dames, the Sous Buen cave. Easily accessible, you will reach it by a small ladder.

Know that it is possible to rent the courts tennis at Baume les Dames.
The keys are to be collected from the Tourist Office of Baume les Dames during opening hours. (1 hour minimum before closing)
At the rate of 11€/hour.
