A breathtaking view at the Tour des Bois
This is our favorite spot in the Ognon valley: a 26m high observation tower , perched on the heights of the valley!
The view up there is just magnificent.
A breathtaking view of the Ognon Valley
Climb the 146 steps of the Tour des Bois to discover a 360° panorama over the Ognon Valley plain! The view is breathtaking… Our advice is to go in the autumn, when the colours are most spectacular!
Perched at a height of 26 metres, you will have a view of the Ognon valley, then of the wind farm: you should be able to count 36!
Free and open access all year round.
The climb on foot to the Tour des Bois

Between the village of Lusans and Villers Grélot , take the wind farm track and follow the signs for "Tour des Bois".
Caution: This road is a maintenance track for the upkeep of the wind farm. Traffic is permitted, but the road is gravelly and sometimes eroded due to heavy rain. We advise you to drive carefully.
Once you reach the top, it's just a few hundred meters on foot to the base of the Tower. But if you want to be truly amazed, you'll need to be brave and climb the 146 steps!
