EuroVelo 6 is a 4,450 km cycling route that allows you to cross Europe by bike from the Atlantic to the Black Sea. In the Doubs Valley, we'll give you all our tips for a wonderful bike ride!
A safe route
The cycle route is well-developed, alternating between greenways and roads shared with other vehicles. Rest assured, the roads used are generally very quiet.
Breathtaking landscapes
We are lucky to have this EV6 passing through our beautiful Doubs valley, and believe us the landscapes there are spectacular, it's not us who say it, but the tourists who tell us so very frequently!
On the waves, with his boat
What could be more pleasant than sailing at the rhythm of the waters? Try the adventure of discovering and admiring our beautiful Doubs valley in a different way .
The Doubs has its source in Mouthe and flows for 453 km, taking a short trip to Switzerland. It is in Montbéliard that this river becomes navigable for 200 km. The Rhone-Rhine Canal, which accompanies and extends it, allows for easy and calm navigation.
Where to park with your boat Baume les Dames ?
At the Harbor Master's Office:
A river stop with a capacity of 15 berths has been set up to provide boaters with water and electricity . From the Harbour Master's Office, you can reach the historic centre, which is a 10-minute walk away.
