Guillon les Bains area
On the banks of the Cusancin , enjoy several shaded picnic tables at the exit of the village of Guillon-les-Bains. Simply walk down to the river to dip your toes in the water.

Arboretum area BAUME LES DAMES
Having lunch surrounded by trees from all over the world, isn’t that tempting?
This picnic area is located in the heart of the Arboretum on the heights of Baume les Dames. You want to make a hiking/picnic ? Start from Baume les Dames on a walk " Discovery trail » (6,8km) and plan a gourmet break on the road.

Are you with your children or on the EuroVelo 6 route?
La recreational area of Baume les Dames is perfect for you, a part is good in the shade under the trees et close to Doubs and the other part is near a large playground fully equipped (water, toilet, parking, zip line, skate park, BMX track)

It’s unavoidable of the sector, the rise to the Woods Tower (20 min from Baume les Dames), a 27m panoramic tower from high offering a superb viewpoint over the Ognon valley. At the foot of this tower you will find the perfect picnic spot.
Dolines Trail Area
Near a forest path in Ougney-Douvot , enjoy a pleasant break in the heart of the woods with picnic tables and blankets . Then, cross the road and head into the forest on a small marked trail for the family-friendly "Sinkhole Discovery Trail" . There you'll discover sinkholes, dolines, caves...

You are cycling on Eurovelo6 across Baume les Dames and Besançon?
Make a stop in Ougney. A charming little picnic area is located right on the banks of the Doubs River . For those travelling by van or campervan, there's a place to spend the night just a short walk away at the Ougney parking area.
